Outreach Programs

One Community
at a Time

We believe in making a real difference, one community at a time. Our outreach programs bring water safety, swimming, and wellness education to those who need it most.

Through our targeted initiatives, we’re reaching kids and families across the country, helping them feel confident, safe, and empowered.`

Outreach Program - Caps for a Cause

Caps for a Cause

The Caps for a Cause program is all about giving back through the sport that changed Michael’s life.

Non-profit organizations focused on promoting swimming, encouraging kids to lead healthy, active lives, or providing mental health services are invited to apply for a silent or live auction item to support their fundraising efforts.

Past Recipients

We’ve been proud to partner with some amazing organizations that have made an incredible impact on others. From helping underserved communities access swimming lessons to supporting mental health programs, the recipients of the Caps for a Cause program are doing extraordinary work.

We’ve had the honor of supporting:
National Drowning Prevention Alliance
Association of Aquatic Professionals
Boys and Girls Clubs of Maui
City of Avondale, Arizona
AND MORE

Please note: Applying does not guarantee a donation. If selected, the recipient will be informed of their award level based on the specifics of the event or organization.

Caps are awarded monthly, with the recipient receiving an autographed Michael Phelps swim cap within two weeks of the decision. Your organization will also be featured on our website and social media. After your event, we kindly request a report within 30 days.

IM Programs

Our IM Programs focus on water safety, swimming, and building life skills. These programs are designed to give kids the tools they need to stay safe in the water, stay active, and build self-confidence. We work with organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs and Special Olympics to bring these programs to as many kids as possible.

Together, we can give kids the skills they need to be successful swimmers and strong individuals.
